At Run the Dog, our rates are based on your location and the service you choose. Because we provide convenient pickup and drop-off, pricing may vary depending on the distance from our service area.

Meet and Greet

After we've talked over the phone and you feel RTD is a perfect fit for you. Now is the step where we book our Meet and Greet.

I get to personally meet you and your dog .

We include an assessment of temperament, leash manners and help guide you what service might be the right fit for your dog.

We also take them time to recommend tools, prong collar fittings (If needed) or different leash. We also introduce your dog to our transport vehicle and ramp. Building their confidence to insure their first experience with a group is positive and impactful.

$35 + HST

 For the initial meet and Greet

Private sessions

Private walks are ideal for dogs who need extra support with leash manners or reactivity.

We work one-on-one with your dog to build confidence, improve leash skills and help them become more comfortable in different environments.

Leash manners: 1–2 sessions recommended.

Reactivity: 4 sessions or more recommended.

Our goal is to eventually transition your dog into a group setting. For dogs experiencing fearfulness or insecurity, we can start with smaller groups to help build their confidence.

If your dog does not socialize well with other dogs or displays aggression, we highly recommend working with a professional dog trainer. We have great recommendations for other training options.

$50–$70 + HST

Short Distance Running

Dog Pack Running Group (60 minutes)

we run our dogs in a group of 4-5 dogs, we run on the road in quiet neighbourhoods in barrie/Midhurst.

4-5 KM total distance.

we walk (Warm up) 15 mins Run for 30 and walk (Cool down) for the last 15 mins.

We work on neutrality, engagement and leash manners teaching the dogs to walk nicely on leash while engaging them mentally and physically.



$40 + HST

One day a week commitment minimum to join

Long Distance Running

Dog Pack Running Group (90 Minutes)

we run our dogs in a group of 4-5 dogs, we run on trail for this longer distance run.

7-8 KM total distance.



we walk (Warm up) 15 mins Run for 1 hour and walk (Cool down) for the last 15 mins.

We work on neutrality, engagement and leash manners teaching the dogs to walk/run nicely on leash while engaging them mentally and physically.

Perfect for high energy/ working breeds who have larger engines

$50 + HST

Bi weekly option available upon request

Dog Hiking Group (90 minutes)

We take our dogs in a group of 5-8, in quiet trails in Midhurst.

5-6 KM total distance.

Dogs get to play, run at their own pace, explore and we challenge their recall, impulse control and proper socialization on group hikes.

Perfect for dogs who have larger engines and need the physical and mental stimulation to reach true fulfilment.

$50 + HST

Structured On-Leash Group Walks

Dog Pack walking Group (60 minutes)

we walk our dogs in a group of 4-5, we walk on the road in quiet neighbourhoods in barrie/Midhurst.

4-5 KM total distance.

We work on neutrality, engagement and leash manners teaching the dogs to walk nicely on leash while engaging them mentally and physically.

$35 + HST

1 day a week package = 140 - 175 + HST

We are now offering play dates that include pick up and drop off. 2 hour time frame, structured playtime, training, 30 minute pack walk and much more.
